    • The Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA), or Ordo Initiationis Christianae Adultorum, is a process developed by the Catholic Church for prospective converts to Catholicism above the age of infant baptism. Candidates are gradually introduced to aspects of Catholic beliefs and practices.
